As part of our Christmas celebrations, the children make a Christingle. This is made from an orange (to represent the world) wooden cocktail sticks ( to represent the four seasons) raisons and sweets ( to represent the good things in life) a red ribbon round the orange( to represent God's love for us) and the cande ( representing Jesus, light of the world) After making the Christingle the children hold a short service and we light our candles. It's a lovely service.
We hope you all have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Feliz Navidad y Fröhliche Weihnachten.

Remember, remember, the 5th of November!

"Remember, remember,the fifth of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
We see no reason why
Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!"
As you are all aware, here in England we will be celebrating the anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot. Follow this link in order to tell your children about this English festival:

Some of the children made up the fruit salad, following the recipe that we had received from Reinhardwald Schule.
Then the children all had a taste. It was very good - tasty and healthy.
Thank-you Reinhardswald!
