As part of our Christmas celebrations, the children make a Christingle. This is made from an orange (to represent the world) wooden cocktail sticks ( to represent the four seasons) raisons and sweets ( to represent the good things in life) a red ribbon round the orange( to represent God's love for us) and the cande ( representing Jesus, light of the world) After making the Christingle the children hold a short service and we light our candles. It's a lovely service.
